Are you a political science major with a love of public relations – or a PR major who’s also a political junkie?

If you answered ‘yes,’ then Avicom Marketing Communications has exactly the paid internship opportunity for you. Avicom, the largest marketing communications firm in Waukesha, (www.avicomdirect.com) has an immediate opening in its Public Relations Department.

Right now, Avicom PR is seeking an enthusiastic, responsible and highly organized young professional who will focus primarily on the Political and Public Affairs branch of Avicom, with additional support work in other client areas.

This is not a sit-on-the-sidelines internship. The qualified applicant will be expected to play a vital role in account coordination, research, and offering ongoing input. An excellent performance in this position may lead to eventual full-time employment with Avicom.

Students with proven involvement in political and/or public affairs campaigns, either as a paid employee or as a volunteer, are strongly encouraged to apply for this position.

Avicom plans to fill this position as soon as possible, so if you are interested, don’t hesitate to send your resume to Public Relations Director Karl Robe at Karl.Robe@avicomdirect.com , along with a brief letter that outlines your field of study, and why you are the best choice for the position.
