Business Marketing Association to Host Second Annual "Lightning Round"

Young professionals will participate in mock interviews with real world
professionals.

MILWAUKEE - On Tuesday, February 12, 2008, the Business Marketing Association/Milwaukee Chapter will host its second annual "lightning round" interview workshop for college students interested in careers in advertising, marketing,
public relations, design and communication arts.

At the event, each student will sit down with up to five different marketing professionals for a series of 6-minute mock interviews. This quick, intense exercise will give students the opportunity to gain solid interviewing experience and immediate feedback. In addition, students can have their resumes critiqued and will be given valuable job-hunting tips. They will also learn more about opportunities available to them through the BMA, such as the Student Bell awards, scholarship, seminars, mentoring and membership.

"We want to again offer this networking event to students and Milwaukee-area marketing professionals because it was such a valuable opportunity last year for students and professionals alike. There is nothing more real than a job interview and our BMA Student Assistance team works to improve the student's interviewing skills as
well as provide an opportunity to network with local business marketing professionals. This event offers a "real-world" link between the academic and professional worlds with activities that are important to college students," said Randy Will, BMA Milwaukee Education Committee Chair.

The event will be held at The Eisner Museum of Advertising & Design, 208 N. Water Street in Milwaukee, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on February 12, 2008.

Student attendees must register online at www.bma-milwaukee.org by February 11, 2008.

The cost is $10 for all attendees.
