Our firm has an opportunity in our Milwaukee office for a highly capable web solutions architect/programmer. As a solutions architect, you will lead the development and programming of all Versant interactive projects while developing and maintaining client technical infrastructure, including Web and database server setup and management.
Specific functions include:
·Provides technical design and planning for client projects
·Produces and programs client and internal Web sites and Web applications
·Sets up and maintains client and internal Web and database servers
·Develops and maintains Web hosting and vendor relationships
·Maintains and develops Versant proprietary Web-based applications
·Works closely with project managers, art directors and other Versant team members on client and internal interactive projects
·Maintains and develops measurements and Web Analytics reports
·Creates and maintains technical documentation
·Provides time and resource estimates for client projects
·Meets established productivity standards
·Other responsibilities as needed or assigned
Requirements:
·Bachelor’s degree in computer science, multimedia or related field
·Five years Web site production, programming and development experience
·Experience with Macromedia Dreamweaver / Microsoft Visual Studio
·Mastery of Microsoft technologies and products, including Windows 2000/2003 Server, Internet information Server and SQL Server 2000/2005
·Relational database design and administration experience, including maintenance and backup plans, database server setup and management
·Expert-level proficiency in HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Microsoft .NET 1.1/2.0, Active Server Pages using VBScript; SQL, and XML experience preferred
·Web site interface production expertise using Adobe Photoshop and ImageReady
·Working knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) a plus
·Proven administrative experience with Web, database and DNS servers in a Windows environment; Mac OS X Server experience also a plus
·Experience with log- and tag-based Web Analytics (Urchin, WebTrends and/or Omniture preferred)
·Experience with Macromedia Flash/ActionScript, Director/Lingo, and e-commerce systems a plus
·Project management and agency experience a plus
